Welcome!

Thank you for visiting the Elkader Fitness Inc. website. Elkader Fitness Inc. is a non-profit fitness center. We are located at 305 High St. in Elkader, IA. Elkader Fitness Inc. was developed with community support, labor and donations to provide an area for healthful exercise. It features a gym floor, weight room and cardio area.

The mission of Elkader Fitness Inc. is to provide recreational, social and educational enrichment opportunities through quality programs and services at a reasonable cost to members and the community.

Use of Elkader Fitness is available with an annual membership or with a daily visitor’s fee. It is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Members are given a pass code for the keyless entry security system.

Elkader Fitness 8 Week Class Schedule

(classes begin week of Jan 9th)

Low-impact Cardio/Weights -- Monday 5:30-6:30am
This is a beginner fitness level class. The workouts will be low impact cardio and light weights. Perfect class for all ages and body types.

Advanced Cardio/Weights -- Tuesdays 5:30-6:30am -- Thursdays 6:30-7:30pm
This class is designed to get your heart rates up! Not for the weak of heart, you’re definitely going to burn the calories in this hour long class.

Yoga -- Tuesdays and Thursdays 5:00-6:00pm
For all fitness levels. This class is taught by a certified Yoga instructor fromDubuque. Contact instructor for prices - punch card available.

Kettlebells
Thursdays
Advanced 5:30-6am
Beginner 6:00-6:30am
Tuesdays
Beginner 6:15-6:45pm
Advanced 7:00-7:30pm
This class is taught by certified Kettlebell instructors.

Cardio/KB/Weights -- Monday and Wednesdays 8:00-9:00pm

Prices:
$10 for members
$40 for one class non-members
$55 for two classes non-members
$35 for non-members to get 8 weeks of access to fitness center 24/7

Other Info:
All participants must fill out waiver forms or inside the fitness center.

If you have any heart or respiratory conditions you must have a physician’s release to participate in class.

Important: Only 12 month term memberships plans are available at Elkader Fitness. All members agree to sign a 12 month contract and adhere to one of the 12 month rates plans. Partial year memberships to Elkader Fitness are not available.

shoes VERY IMPORTANT: Elkader Fitness Members must change their shoes before using the fitness center! Two of our new treadmills are in need of repair due to dirt accumulation in the mechanics. Please remind those not observing the policy to change their shoes upon entering Elkader Fitness.
